Programing of TT-3000SSA (first installation)

1. Connect a Laptop to the DB9 Connector using a standart DB9 to DB9 cable.
2. Run a terminal program and connect to SSAS with 4800,8,N,1.
3. Power on SSAS.
4. Configuration access is only granted by using SYSADM user level.
5. First time entering SYSADM level the password has to be changed.
: su sysadm<enter>
Enter password: sysadm<enter>
Enter new password : **************<enter>
Confirm new password: **************<enter>
Password for user sysadm changed.

6. Setting up the mobile number :
: se -u 4xxxxxxxx<enter>

7. Setting up the right LES :
: se -m 021,121,221,321<enter> France Telekom
or: se -m 4,104,204,304<enter> Eik
or: se -m 012,112,212,312<enter> Xantic (NL)
or: se -m 022,122,222,322<enter> Xantic (AUS)
or: se -m 002,102,202,302<enter> Stratos
or: se -m 003,103,203,303<enter> KDD

8. Programing of Alert Recipients : (some examples)
First entry is a fax-number in Hamburg,Germany :
:se -am 0,1,4940xxxxxxxxx,T30<enter> (used for all LES)

Second entry is e-mail adress :
: se -am 1,254,xxxxxxxxx@hdw-hagenuk.de<enter> (used for Eik,KDD and Xantic )
: se -am 1,6,TO+xxxxxxx@hdw-hagenuk.de,28<enter> (used for France Telecom)
: se -am 1,254,xxxxxxxxx@hdw-hagenuk.de,63<enter> (used for Stratos)
: se -am 1,254,TO+xxxxxxxxx@hdw-hagenuk.de,65<enter> (used for Singtel)
If using Eik and France Telecom, it is possible to program three e-mail adresses in one entry, they are separated by a semicolon.

Third entry is a mobile number (SMS) in Germany :
: se -am 2,6,SMS+49171xxxxxxx,28<enter> (used for France Telekom)
: se -am 2,6,49171xxxxxxx,66<enter> (used for Eik)
: se -am 2,6,49171xxxxxxx,696<enter> (used for Xantic)

Delete a recepient :
: se -am 0,255<enter> (first entry)
: se -am 1,255<enter> (second entry)
: se -am 2,255<enter> (third entry)

9. Setting up a supplementary free text :
: se -at "TT-3000SSA Test Station" (max. 69 Characters in quotation marks, Blanks are possible!!)

If using Software 2.12.15 or later itīs possible to setup a free text up to 199 characters.
Prepare the text(without quotation marks) in Word and copy it to the clipboard. (STRG-C-)
>>Use Hyperterminal to programm the text, EasyMail is not fast enough !!!>>
The command is
: se -tr free.txt <enter>
now put in the text from clipboard (STRG-V-) and wait until : comes up.
using the <dir> command will show < free.txt 199 >
:se -atf free.txt <enter> copies the new text into transceiver.

Keep attention when programing the recipients :
Be shure to fill in the correct access code depending to the LES ! ! !
Example : If France Telekom is programed as LES ( : se -m ) you must use
the correct access code for France Telekom.

Changing the password :

Login with the sysadm password.
: su sysadm <enter>
: enter password
: passwd sysadm<enter>
: enter new password
: retype new password

What to do if the "SYSADM" password is lost :
You have to notice the ISN-Number from the bottom of the antenna.
With this ISN-Number you have to request a special Distributor password via Thrane & Thrane e-support.
Login into the system with this password:
: su distb <enter>
: enter Password (distributor password)

Now you are at distributor level, and ready to create a new sysadm password.
: password sysadm <enter>
: enter new password
: retype new password
